International Conference on Management of Priority Waste Streams

15-16 June 2006, Nicosia, Cyprus

   

The International Conference on Management of Priority Waste Streams will present the most recent technological and scientific methodologies on waste streams associated with environmental problems. This combination with the integration of environmental information accompanied with economic and social aspects is precondition for adopting sustainable solutions to the numerous waste streams problems with emphasis on end-of-life vehicles (ELVs), construction and demolition waste (C&D), waste from electric and electronic equipment (WEEE)

The Conference is organized by the Environment Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment of Cyprus and the Unit of Environmental Science and Technology of the National Technical University of Athens in the framework of LIFE 03/TCY/CY/018 “Development of best management systems for high priority waste streams in Cyprus – KYPROS” Project.
