On Wednesday 19.04.2006 a live radio interview (download winamp) was given from Marios Avramides (Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Cyprus) to Kostas Michailides (journalist of Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation) in Proto Program 97.2 (talk show “in & out”) about SUSCON project and its importance
On Wednesday 21.11.2007 a live radio interview (download winamp) was given by Professor Panos Papanastasiou (Head of the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Cyprus) to Giorgos Pavlides and Michalis Loizides ("Epea Pteroenta – Europaika Themata" programme, ASTRA Radio Station - 92.8), about Green Buildings and the First Sustainable Construction Competition in Cyprus.
Τhe NTUA team presented the SUSCON actions and activities in the Exhibition “HELLENIC DAYS OF RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY” which was held from 22nd to the 23rd of June, 2006, in Syntagma Square, Athens (Poster submitted)
A paper was accepted, entitled “Sustainable construction in public and private works through IPP aproach - the SUSCON project” by M. Loizidou, C. Koroneos, D. Chardas, A. Bourka, T. Palekithrytis, D. Fatta and L. Chrysostomou and was presented in the 10th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology
A paper was accepted, entitled “Life Cycle Assessment of an office building in Greece” by C. Koroneos, A. Dompros and M. Loizidou and was presented in the 10th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology

During the promotion of the Action Plan for the Green Public Procurements, the UCY team presented the SUSCON project in a number of public institutions related with the construction sector on 26th March 2008 at the Environment Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment after receiving the corresponding INVITATION. Representatives of the Ministry of Educations and Culture, the Ministry of Defence, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Services, the Department of Government Purchasing and Supply and the Department of Town Planning and Housing participated in this meeting. Distribution of Greek Sustainable Construction Competition for Buildings

National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)

The main technical and scientific coordinator of the project is NTUA while five more partners are involved in the project. For the implementation of the project a strong partnership among universities, construction industries, technical consultants and associations has been established
